Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how PageJoust (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information through the pagejoust.com website and the PageJoust waitlist signup. It does not cover the PageJoust Shopify app itself — when the app launches, it will have its own privacy notice covering merchant and customer data handled inside Shopify.

What we collect

The only personal information we actively collect from you is the email address you submit through our waitlist form. We do not currently use analytics, cookies, or tracking pixels. Our hosting provider logs standard server request data (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for the purpose of operating the site and preventing abuse.

How we use it

We use your email address to:

• Send you a welcome email confirming your waitlist signup.
• Send occasional updates about the PageJoust app as we build it (approximately monthly).
• Notify you when early access is available.

We do not sell your email address. We do not share it with marketing partners. We will not use it for unrelated promotions.

Subprocessors

We use the following third-party services to operate the waitlist:

• Resend (resend.com) — email delivery and contact storage. Your email address is stored in Resend on our behalf. Their privacy policy is at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Vercel (vercel.com) — website hosting. Vercel processes standard server logs as described above. Their privacy policy is at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Your rights

You can:

• Unsubscribe from any email we send using the link in the email footer.
• Request a copy of the data we hold on you.
• Request deletion of your email and any associated contact record.

If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection). The same email applies.

Retention

We retain your email address for as long as you remain on the waitlist. If you unsubscribe or request deletion, we remove your record from our systems within a reasonable period.

International transfers

Resend and Vercel are US-based providers. By submitting your email, you consent to the transfer of your personal information to the United States for the purposes described above.

Security

We use standard practices to protect your data. The site is served over HTTPS. We do not store payment information of any kind.

Children

PageJoust is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this Privacy Policy in a material way, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify waitlist subscribers by email.
